I do not really have too many projects going on with my trying to find a job and also spending time with my family but below are a couple of things I have been tinkering with, besides this site.

Project 1:
Server Name: Zoidberg
Make/Model: IBM eServer x235
Processor(s): 2x Intel Xeon Processors 2.4Ghz 32-bit
RAM: 3GB PC2100 DDR ECC
SCSI HDD: 2x IBM 10k RPM 9.1GB
SATA HDD: 3x 7200RPM 230GB; 1x 7200RPM 750GB
RAID: SCSI Drives RAID1 for OS; 2x 230GB drives RAID1 with 1x Hot Spare; Off Mirror Backup Drive is 750GB

Details: For this server I have the host OS running Linux with Samba as the file server. I also have VMware Server installed with Windows 2003 Server running as a guest doing AD authentication for Samba and the workstations.

Possible Changes: I am thinking of reconfiguring the server to run VMware ESXi Server, which happens to be more robust, and running Linux and Windows both as guest machines. I have done some preliminary testing with success on another server so far. I also have more RAM that will bump the server up to 6GB which can help out a lot for running VMs. This all will require some time so I do not think I will be able to finish this up at the moment. I would think that in a good weekend I could get most if not all of it done.
